GENERAL INFORMATION
As the English Cocker is still a comparatively rare breed in the United
States, you may not find precisely the dog you have in mind at a
given time, with respect to color, age, sex and convenience of location.
English
Cocker puppies may be purchased from a knowledgeable breeder of English
Cocker Spaniels. Occasionally adults are available from breeders
as well. The English Cocker Rescue Network also rehomes adults.
CONTACTS
Puppies
The ECSCA can assist in helping you locate an English Cocker Spaniel puppy or adult. Please write to the Corresponding Secretary:
The English Cocker Spaniel Club of America, Inc.
Mrs. K. D. Romanski, Corresponding Secretary
P.O. Box 252, Hales Corners, WI 53130
(414) 529-9714
You may call but please adhere to the following restrictions: weekends or weeknights only. Please no phone calls after 9 PM Central Time!
In addition to contacting the Corresponding Secretary, you may wish to contact additional members of the ECSCA Breeder Referral. These individuals are located across the U.S. and may be contacted through their e-mail address.
The following is a list of Breeder Referral Representatives. Please be considerate and contact only the representative nearest you. The Breeder Representative provides the names of breeders in the area, answers questions and assists individuals in learning about the breed. Providing the name of a breeder does not imply that they or the ECSCA are endorsing anyone in particular. Please carefully research and interview each breeder.
Adults
If you are
interested in adopting an adult, please contact the corresponding secretary
or ECSCA Rescue. The adults
pictured below are English Cockers successfully rescued and placed
in new homes by the ECSCA Rescue Network.
