"Sonny"
February 2003
Sonny was a 10-year-old blue roan ECS that was surrendered
to a Minnesota shelter by his owner who could no longer take care of him.
The dog had been left outside in a yard for his entire life and hadn't had
much attention or veterinary care.
Despite this, he was very sweet. He was thoroughly checked out by a
vet and found a home in Montana with a wonderful couple.
|
Sadly, six months later Sonny passed
away from urethral cancer. At least he had a chance to roam the wilds of Montana
and enjoy feeling free and unfettered before he left this world. His owners
later adopted Nicholas and Alexander, two older ECS that were being placed
by their owner.
